A rōnin (浪人, "drifter" or "wanderer", i.e. "he who drifts/wanders")[1] was a samurai without lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master.
We founded Ronin Tactical Fitness in Valley Stream, NY in 2017. However, the beginning of our team started nearly a decade before. Ronin Tactical Fitness is a coalition of former students and coaches from various disciplines who have been training together for over a generation. The Academy is founded on the principles of inclusiveness, learning and progress.
